今年5月、グレイハウンド・バスのターミナル北側にオープンした、イタリア風のスタイリッシュなカフェ。『MOTORE』 とはイタリア語でモーターサイクル（オートバイ）を意味するそうで、イタリア製のべスパが好きなオーナー、D.J.ノーマンさんがつけたものです。活気的な社交場としての日本の喫茶店に感銘を受けたノーマンさんは、活気的な社交場とワーク・スペースを提供できるカフェを再現するべく、同店をオープンしました。左手奥のワーク・スペースでは、ベンチの背もたれにべスパのシートを背もたれに使うなど他店にはないデザインが目を引きます。コーヒーや紅茶、スムーシーなどのドリンクを購入するとネットへのアクセスが無料になるので、仕事や勉強をするのにもよく、雑誌や新聞が置いてあるので待ち合わせにも便利。チョコレート作りの名人リー・ジョンソンさんによるフィオリ・チョコレートのトリュフやコイン型のチョコなども楽しめます。ぜひ一度立ち寄ってみてください。
